This is not a pity party.

Hey there! I just wanted to share a little update with you all. So, I recently had a short hospital stay due to some MS/lower back issues, but I'm back home now. Dealing with rheumatoid arthritis and maybe MS, along with a troublesome back, means I deal with pain daily. However, I still manage to do things I love, just at a slower pace. And hey, this is not a plea for sympathy!

Life still has its good moments, even if they like to play hide and seek sometimes. While I was in the hospital waiting for a test, I casually mentioned to my nurse about a "Book Club" dinner at my place, hosted by my awesome neighbor Annie. The amazing nurses, PAs, and techs made it possible for me to leave in time for the party! I made a quick appearance, but it meant a lot to me to show my lovely neighbors that I'm okay.

When I got home, my dogs Chip and Murphy greeted me, which was really heartwarming. I may complain about them taking up the bed, but I really missed their presence! And you know what? Those chrysalises I thought were lost? They turned into two beautiful butterflies! What a miracle!

Just relaxing on my patio with my coffee, I can't help but feel grateful for the little things. The gardens I used to overlook are now full of blooming flowers, my butterflies are thriving, and the gold finches have returned. This place has always been my sanctuary, but now it's even more special.

My heart is overflowing with love for all the little things, my incredible family and friends, and of course, all of you. Seriously, without you all, there would be no Hippie Momma. This is where I find my creative inspiration and inner peace.

Just a quick shoutout to all of you - thank you!

Take care and lots of love,

Sarah
